Propagation Characteristics of SH Wave in Orthotropic Layer/Piezoelectric Column Structure

Abstract The propagation characteristics of SH waves along the circumferential direction in an orthotropic layer/piezoelectric column structure with a non-ideal interface are studied this paper. By solving governing equations, solutions to problem expressed by first and second Bessel functions. dispersion equation is obtained boundary conditions conditions. numerical examples provided show effects degree orthogonal anisotropy, thickness-diameter ratio, imperfect on characteristics.
